The blade is constructed with seven layers of carefully selected wood, which results in explosive power and consistent results in play.

Unique form factor 

A completely new shape that’s optimized to provide maximal hitting surface. 
 
Larger optimized hitting surface 

Studies have shown that the optimal hitting surface is located on the upper half of the blade. Therefore, STIGA has optimized the Cybershape hitting surface to make it larger at the upper half and somewhat smaller on the lower half (in comparison with traditional blades) to maintain the blade’s balance. 
 
Larger optimized impact surface closer to the table 

The unique shape means that an impressive 6.5 cm2 of the blade’s hitting surface comes closer to the table, compared to a traditional blade’s area of 2.5 cm2. This offers a significant advantage in short play and returns. 
 
Larger sweet spot 

The increased sweet spot, located higher up on the blade, offers optimal impact and stability.
